Thanks Barbara! Both the vessels in this picture are old, the one in the foreground was launched in 1921 and the tug in the background in 1944, so I wanted my image to reflect that feeling of heritage, hopefully it does! Love YOUR minimalist images!

About Mark Alan Perry

Mark Alan Perry

I love the feeling of being in the right place at the right time to catch a magical, fleeting moment, something that may never be repeated. That's one of the things I most appreciate about photography. I find most of my images have something to do with water, either fresh or salty. I guess it's because I live on an island surrounded by the salty kind, but I'm also fascinated by the many moods of water and by the way it reflects light. And for some reason I seem to be most happy seeing the world through a camera lens. mp
